Merci Madame Claire- On behalf of the JK Class 2014/2015

Dear Parents,

As the year has come to an end, I wish to end this blog with a final thank you to Madame Claire, who spent many long hours with our children whether they were in good moods or not in addition to posting weekly what our children had actually learned.

We will surely miss you Madame Claire and wish you the very best of luck in your future endeavors.

We would like to conclude with this small poem to you from all of us!

Merci Beaucoup et Bonne Chance!!

The JK Class of 2014/2015

Final Update Farewell!

Dear Parents,

Today was a wonderful day seeing our little ones move onto the next chapter of their lives!

I also would like to express, that it was a pleasure working alongside with Madame Fabregues(Claire) as the JK Class representative and I would like to sincerely express my gratitude to all parents who helped to support the JK Class this year.

Many friendships and fond memories were created, which I'm sure the children will also cherish.

It is with a bit of sadness that I write this very last update to you, as we shall not be returning next year, but we also leave with many fond experiences and we wish everyone a brilliant summer filled with sunshine and warmth and best of luck to all for next year.

Here are the last updates

  • All 6 of the JK $50.00 Life Experience Gift cards were distributed to teachers and staff previously advised. A huge thank you to all who contributed.

  • In follow up to my previous e-mail sent earlier this month, for those who no longer wish to participate in the World Vision Sponsorship of Douelle and Fatomata, please ensure to contact world vision(contact below) to advise of your withdraw from the program.
  • For those who wish to still continue their participation, please note that your monthly balance may be increased if members withdraw and I would encourage you again to follow up with world vision to confirm what your newly revised monthly payments may be.

Week's achievements

Bonjour

Here are some of our week achievements :

-French : we learnt the names of some jungle animals and played a kind of memory game with cards.

-Reading and writing : We did some writing

-Maths : it went on well, as usually everybody has been working at their own rhythm on their copybooks
All of them are on the last math book now
We went on counting up to 100 and even went up to 150 once

-Science : we studied the caterpillar transformation into butterfly

-Music and poem : We went on learning the new song I posted on the blog earlier this week. The students love it (we only did the three first verses)

-Story : We read a story about a ginger man

Art : We did a magic zoo

Reminders
Sun screen and hats : Please make sure that your child comes to school with a hat and some sun screen. I would appreciate that you put some on them before school and I will put some more before lunch resses. Thanks for your cooperation

Bon weekend à tous

Madame Claire
